Arashi’s Kazunari Ninomiya’s (27) upcoming drama has been voted as the show most people want to see this autumn, according to a survey carried out by music website BIG GLOBE, it has been revealed today.

Ninomiya’s drama, “フリーター、家を買う (Freeter, Ie wo Kau)” is a series based on a best-seller novel, and is the first drama the popstar has been in since “流星の絆 (Ryusei no Kizuna)” two years ago. This, BIG GLOBE reports, is a big factor in attracting Arashi fans.

“Q10 (Cute)” ranked in second, with much attention being drawn to its fresh cast including Takeru Sato and Atsuko Maeda from AKB48.

“医龍 Team Medical Dragon 3″ ranked in third, attracting fans from its first two series.

It was reported that Ninomiya Kazunari (Arashi) and Nagasawa Masami have been in a good relationship, however, “Syu-kan Josei“(July 6th issue) reported that they have broken up.

According to the gossip magazine, Ninomiya used to visit Masami’s place very often, but he stopped going over since March. A neighbor of Masami’s also testified that she stopped seeing Ninomiya since March.

March is when Masami made an appearance on “Waratte iitomo!” as a guest, and the audience was worried about how skinny Masami was.

“Syu-kan Josei” also reported the reason why they broke up is that Ninomiya cheated on Masami.

On April 01 the two Arashi members Ninomiya Kazunari (26) and Sakurai Sho (28) have been spotted enjoying the cherry trees that are currently in full bloom. Occasions where people go out to gaze at the beautiful cherry blossoms like this are called ohanami or sakura viewing, a term most of you have probably heard already. Anyway, Ninomiya and Sakurai haven't been alone that day, the young actresses Mizukawa Asami (26) and Eikura Nana (22) were with them all the time.

Sounds like a great and fun outing of some very popular young stars in Japan. They didn't even try to disguise themselves and simply enjoyed being together. So what's the occasion? Is it time for more dating rumors again?

"Most people might still not be aware, but Mizukawa is actually very close with the members of Arashi. Even in their private time they often go out to have some meals together. Once she appeared together with Aiba Masaki (27) in a movie and there were rumors about them being in a relationship. Eikura, on the other hand, is a very good friend of Mizukawa," an official of a broadcasting station explained the foursome.

That seems to explain all the fun they seem to have had that day. People said that Mizukawa simply wasn't able to stop smiling all day long. However, it wasn't just a random get-together under the trees, they've actually had a reason to be together.

"April 01 was the birthday of Takahashi Katsumi (49). The four of them have been seen carrying a cake to a café and congratulating him on his birthday," an official from an agency resolved the situation. Several other influential actors such as Tsutsumi Shinichi (45) or Toda Keiko (52) attended the little party at this café near the cherry trees as well. The staff at the café even had to stay 40 minutes longer than the official closing time, because the group simply had too much fun and didn't want to end the party. The group then split up while some of them decided to keep partying elsewhere, a few of them even until 2 am in the night.

It was the tabloid FLASH that reported about this event and published several snapshots from the party. Eikura was said to be in a very good mood. She was a bit tipsy and linked arms with the others. Ninomiya was kind of leading the foursome to the party and was carrying a lot of stuff for them. Nagasawa Masami is know to be good friends with Mizukawa and Eikura as well and it was surprising not to see her at the party, but I guess she tries to avoid any public appearances together with Ninomiya.

In the summer of 2007, the movie ‘Life～天国で君に逢えたら～ / Life～Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara～ [lit. If I were to see you in heaven]’ moved many people to tears. The movie was based on the novel written by world class pro windsurfer Iijima Natsuki. Now the novel ‘天国で君に逢えたら / Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara’ will be adapted into a TV drama starring Ninomiya Kazunari!
The refreshingly touching story tackles such difficult topics as ‘cancer’ and ‘death’. The main character is the psychiatrist Nonoue Junichi, who provides mental care for cancer patients.

Nonoue helps patients in a counseling room of a hospital specializing in cancer therapy. After hearing the agonies and anguishes expressed by patients facing death from end-stage cancer, Nonoue decides he must do something to alleviate their pain and fear. He becomes a ‘postman’ who delivers letters from the patients to their loved ones.

Recently an online store revealed the results of a survey in which female respondents were asked which actor they would like to have as their boyfriend.

The Arashi members Matsumoto and Sakurai came in respectively at No.1 and No.2!

The 40 year old Fukuyama Masaharu succeeded in fending off a legion of young, popular actors and took 3rd place. Although his main occupation is a singer/songwriter, he is also well known as an actor and has appeared in various TV dramas and movies.

Up and coming Mukai Osamu was ranked No.4. He appeared in the TV dramas ‘アタシんちの男子 / Atashinchi no Danshi [lit. The Boys Living in My House]’ and ‘メイちゃんの執事 / Mei-chan no Shitsuji [lit. Mei-chan’s Butler]’.

No.5 was Satoh Takeru who starred in the movie ‘ROOKIES -卒業- / ROOKIES -Sotsugyo- [graduation]’.

The No.6 and No.7 spots were each taken by Mizushima Hiro and Kamiji Yusuke, who both appeared in the film ‘ドロップ / DROP’.

Oguri Shun, Yamashita Tomohisa, Ninomiya Kazunari followed.

The top 10 spots were practically dominated by multi-talented young actors and Johnny’s members!
